Gershom Mendes Seixas

Gershom Mendes Seixas (d. 2. juli 1816) var ein amerikansk-sefardisk ḥazzán som tente ved Shearith Israel-synagogen i New York City (1768–76 og 1784–1816) og i Mikveh Israel-synagogen i Philadelphia (6. juni 1780 til pesaḥ 1784).

Ḥazzán Seixas hadde lite formell utdanning, men hadde god kjennskap til den sefardiske musikalske tradisjonen, var ein flink organisator, hadde svært godt lag med menneske og dreiv omfattande sjølvstudium for å rette opp for den manglande akademiske bakgrunnen sin.
